The Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® represents nearly 10,000 real estate professionals and is the second largest local REALTOR® association in New Jersey. The Association and its Board of Directors are dedicated to our members, leadership in the industry, the real estate profession, and the communities we serve.
Our leaders impact the market and make key policy decisions and recommendations on important issues affecting the real estate industry, analyze trends and information, and provide a comprehensive package of programs, products and services to our REALTOR® members.
Serving in this capacity requires a commitment of both time and dedication to the Real Estate industry and most particularly to the Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS®.
The Nominating Committee of the Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® invites volunteers from the REALTOR® members for consideration to serve as an Officer (one year term) or Director (three-year term).
Qualifications for Board of Director Applicants

Must be a Primary or Secondary REALTOR® member of MORR
-
Must either:
-
Have at least 5 years as a Primary REALTOR® member in good standing of any Association, or
-
Be approved by a 75% vote of the Board
-
Must hold:
-
An active NJ Broker’s License in good standing
-
(Exception: certain Director Salespersons may hold an active NJ Salesperson’s License instead)

Must either:
-
Have served at least 3 years on a MORR Association committee, or
-
Be approved by a 75% vote of the Board
Qualifications for Officer Applicants
-
Must have served on the Board of Directors for at least one full (3) three year term
-
Must hold an active NJ Real Estate Broker’s License in good standing, and
-
Either have been a Primary REALTOR® Member of any REALTOR® Association in good standing for not less than five years, or
-
Have received approval by a 75% vote of the Board of Directors.
