REALTOR® of the Year Award
The REALTOR® of the Year award is given to a member who has contributed the most to the advancement of his/her community and the cause of REALTORS® and has exemplified significant involvement in humanitarian services.
Awarded annually at the Realtors® Triple Play Convention & Trade Expo, the REALTOR® of the Year award is given to a member who has contributed the most to the advancement of his/her community and the cause of REALTORS®. In addition, these individuals have exemplified significant involvement in humanitarian services.
REALTORS® are nominated by each local board or association. Once nominations are submitted, nominees are judged by an independent panel on six categories:
REALTOR® Spirit * Local Board Activity * State Association Activity * National Association Activity * Business Accomplishments * Community Services and Involvement and/or Humanitarian Services
The state award winner is chosen by an independent panel of judges from the pool of local board winners.
The deadline to submit an application was Friday, July 12th by end of business (4:30 pm)
2024 REALTOR® of the Year
Jim Joeriman
Coldwell Banker Riviera Realty
Jim was born and raised in California and found his way to New Jersey at the end of a 27-year active duty naval career where he achieved the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer (E9).
His career in real estate began in 1994 when a real estate broker, who he considers a legend, offered him a management job. In 1996, another legend, Diane Disbrow, urged Jim to get involved in the REALTOR® organization and he did.
Jim has served on the National Association of REALTORS® Business Issues, Multiple Listing Issues and Policies and State and Local Issues committees. In 2024 he came a became a National Association of REALTORS® RPAC Hall of Fame Member having made a lifetime RPAC investment of more than $25,000. He has held the CRB (Certified Residential Broker) Certification since 2001 and completed the Commitment to Excellence certification in 2023.
At New Jersey REALTORS® Jim has served on the Board of Directors, on the Professional Standards Committee since 2007 and been its chairman twice; the Risk Management Committee since 2005, once its Chair; the Nominating Committee and in 2024 the Regional Vice President for Region 4.
Jim has served on the Monmouth Ocean Regional Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors since 2019. Prior he served as a Director at the Ocean County Board for eight years and as its Board President in 2005. On the local level, he has served on Professional Standards, Risk Management, Multiple Listing Service, Bylaws, Personnel, Budget and Finance, Legislative and Political Affairs, Grievance, Mediation, Nominating, Strategic Planning and countless task force assignments. His opinions, thoughts and guidance are often sought by his colleagues.
Jim’s community service includes being a member of the Board of Directors for the Forked River Rotary Club which supports many projects benefiting humanity locally, nationally and globally. Jim is an involved leader and Treasurer of his church. Thought of as a community center, it operates a home dedicated to helping impecunious men return to productive lives, a food pantry providing food to over 80 families, a meeting place for 8 twelve-step groups, a thrift outlet which provides clothing and goods for those in need, and a nursing home outreach program.
Jim will tell you that being involved in industry leadership has enhanced his ability to accomplish the second greatest love in his life, helping others to achieve. In case you might be wondering… his greatest love is for his wife Jo Ann, and his family.”

Linda A. Campos

With an impressive career spanning more than two decades, Linda Campos is a seasoned and highly accomplished REALTOR®. She acquired her New Jersey Real Estate license in 2001 and furthered her credentials with a Broker’s license in 2005. Currently holding the position of Senior Director of Agent Development, Linda coaches and consults 11 Keller Williams Realty Branch offices encompassing over 500 agents in Ocean County. Linda also owns and operates The Campos Group, partnering with her son Eddie in servicing clients.
Linda has served on the MORR Board of Directors since 2014. She is currently the Chair of our Multiple Listing Services (MLS) Committee and a member of our Executive Personnel Committee. Linda has served on MORR’s Mediation, Managers, Strategic Planning, Grievance, Education, By Laws, Nominating, Public Relations and Associates committees.
In addition to her invaluable contributions to the real estate sector, Linda takes immense pride in her philanthropic endeavors. She has been an integral part of Keller Williams Realty’s annual Red Day since its inception in 2009. In this capacity, she has diligently coordinated and participated in projects, raising funds for several charitable organizations, including Boys and Girls Club, Arts Healing Hearts, Catholic Charities, Kick Cancer Overboard, Oceans of Love, Peoples Pantry, and Fulfill Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Over the years, she has accumulated a wealth of experience and a profound understanding of the real estate landscape, firmly establishing herself as a trusted and respected professional within the industry. Her unwavering dedication to both her profession and her community reflects her exceptional commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
A lifelong New Jersey resident, Linda has been blessed with two accomplished adult children and currently resides in Ocean County with her husband Ed.

New Jersey REALTORS® Circle of Excellence Sales Award®
This prestigious program comprises two awards: The NJ REALTORS® Circle of Excellence® Sales Award® and the NJ REALTORS® Distinguished Sales Club.
The NJ REALTORS® Circle of Excellence® Sales Award® recognizes those members who have demonstrated excellence in the field of salesmanship.
Verification/Proof Materials
All verification and proof materials must be uploaded to your online application before submission. As a reminder, transactions and industry units listed as verified do not require proof materials.
Online Application Submission
Starting in 2021, all applications must be submitted online and approved by the broker/office manager prior to the application deadline. Applications that are not submitted or approved cannot be reviewed and will not be eligible to receive the award. There are no exceptions or appeals to this rule. It is highly recommended that applicants check with their broker to ensure ample time is allotted for review and approval process. No hard-copy applications will be accepted by any local board/association.
Your application must be submitted to, and approved by, your broker/office manager by January 13, 2025 at 5:00pm EST.
Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® - Affiliate Partner of the Year Award
The Affiliate Partner of the Year Award is bestowed on an Affiliate member who has been actively involved in the Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® contributing their time and energy to educate the membership on businesses and services geared to help members succeed in the real estate transaction.

Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® - REALTOR® Service Award
The MORR REALTOR® Service Award is presented each year to a dedicated MORR member who has rendered distinguished and outstanding service to the real estate profession and to the Association.
New Jersey REALTORS® Educational Foundation
The New Jersey REALTORS® Educational Foundation, formerly New Jersey Association of REALTORS® Educational Foundation (NJAREF®), is a non-profit organization that was established in 1969 to foster education, promote knowledge, conduct research and assist in the education of students pursuing a college or university degree.
New Jersey REALTORS® Educational Foundation offers annual scholarships to help students meet the costs of higher education. Criteria for selection include academic achievements, financial need, interest in real estate endeavors, and contributions to family, school and communities.
Students are eligible for a scholarship if they are a high school senior who will be attending an undergraduate four-year institution, or currently enrolled in an undergraduate four-year institution.
Applicants must be a member, or a relative of a member of New Jersey REALTORS® or a local state association/board staff who resides in New Jersey.
MORR Emeritus REALTOR® and Emeritus REALTOR Associate® Status
Members who have been awarded Emeritus REALTOR® Status from the National Association of REALTORS® shall be automatically awarded Emeritus REALTOR® or Emeritus REALTOR® Associate status at Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS®.
Those members who meet the following criteria shall be awarded MORR Emeritus REALTOR® or MORR Emeritus REALTOR® Associates of Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS®
- A REALTOR® member of MORR who has held membership in the National Association of REALTOR® for a cumulative period of forty (40) years -and-
- Has held membership in Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® for a cumulative period of ten (10) years -and-
- Has served on a committee or as a Director of Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS®, New Jersey REALTORS® or the National Association of REALTORS® for at least one (1) year of service -and-
- Has requested such status from the Association prior to the dues billing year -and-
- Has been verified by the Chief Executive Officer of the Association prior to the billing year.
Those members of Monmouth Ocean Regional REALTORS® who are awarded Emeritus REALTOR® status shall be entitled to:
- Use of the term MORR Emeritus REALTOR®
- Waiver of local association annual dues.
NAR REALTOR® EMERITUS STATUS
A REALTOR® Member who has held membership in the National Association as a REALTOR® for a cumulative period of forty (40) years, is eligible for REALTOR® Emeritus status.
Please note: Applications can ONLY be submitted by the local association on behalf of the member requesting Emeritus status.
Eligibility
The REALTOR® Emeritus status eligibility requirements are:
Forty (40) years of REALTOR® membership.
Proof of one (1) year of service* at the National Association level.
* “Service” is defined as serving as an NAR officer, director, committee member, Federal Political Coordinator, Global Ambassador, or Global Coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement.
Upon approval of an application for REALTOR® Emeritus status by the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS®, no further payment of dues to the National Association is necessary by the member association of which the REALTOR® Emeritus is a member. Please note that the dues waiver does not take effect until the dues year immediately following the Board of Directors’ approval. In addition, REALTOR® Emeritus Members are exempt from the Code of Ethics Training requirement.
New Jersey REALTORS® quarter century club
NJ REALTORS® Quarter Century Club recognizes members who have reached 25 years or more of membership in the association.
NAR REALTOR® Magazine Good Neighbor Awards
NAR is looking for REALTORS® who make an extraordinary impact on their communities through volunteer work. Five Good Neighbor Award winners will receive $10,000 grants, national publicity and travel expenses to attend the REALTORS® Conference and Expo.
