MOREMLS Participants and Subscribers agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the MOREMLS.
Updates to MoreMLS Rules and Regulations
Please be advised that the MOREMLS Rules & Regulations have been updated as of June 2025. All Members are responsible for complying with the Rules & Regulations, including the following updates, effective immediately:
Section 3.10 – Listing Remarks Requirements (Minor Offense)
Coming Soon Listings:
The first line of the Public Remarks must state:
“Coming Soon, Showings begin [insert date]. ”This language must be removed once the listing becomes Active.
Under Contract Continue to Show (UCCS) Listings:
Public Remarks must state that the property is Under Contract Continue to Show. Remarks must be updated and the UCCS contingency removed when the status changes.
Section 5.5 – Listing Entry Requirement (Serious Offense)
Failure to enter a listing located in Monmouth or Ocean County into MOREMLS is expressly prohibited.
Section 1 – Clear Cooperation Enforcement Policy
If a violation is found, the following actions will occur:
1st Offense:
$1,000 fine
Written warning
Required completion of supplemental education within 30 days — Non-compliance will result in MLS suspension
The Broker/Manager will be notified
The Agent may appeal to the Chief Administrator whose finding shall be final
